You can relax as well as go around Rockingham town, a nice little town with several things to offer – farms, flea markets, Buttermilk Falls not far away, and Bellows Falls close by. The latter does not have any fall as such. A couple more things to see are the Vermont Country Store, and the Meeting Room where people in the town used to gather, for meetings a long, long time ago ☺.
Me and my family had visited Yagna Inn during the 4th of July weekend.
The inn itself has a rustic appearance, which fits its surroundings very well. Peace and quiet prevails here, with the occasional sounds of a train running by. The host, Deven, caters to all your needs and requests. Breakfast is on the house with your stay.
Just off the main road, you are suddenly transformed into a haven of greenery and woods. The inn is nestled in a cozy opening with trees and a river on one side, and a mountain on the other. One of the approaches to the inn is through a covered bridge, which is cool.

All in all a very relaxing trip for a weekend, and we will be visiting again during Fall to see how the color changes magnifies this lovely location.
